libnotmuch3 software package provides thread-based email index, search and tagging (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnotmuch3
libnotmuch3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnotmuch3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnotmuch3 *
You will get with libnotmuch3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
